Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted May 13, 2018 Cajiib. Even the very slogan - nabad iyo nolol, that is - there is some who can't stand this slogan and what it stands for. Deep down, they are against the very existence of nabad, peacefulness and nolol, people living in decent safe life.. They cannot, for the love of Eebbe, stand the very foundation of humanity's existence. It is also the core one of Islaam's tenets (salaama caleykum to one another) and in Soomaali greeting culture (ma nabad baa to one another). It reminds me the ugly decades of 1990s and 2000s in Muqdisho, where the might of guns and who had it only had life to live. In this kind of society, there were people who wouldn't even allow the neighbours to remove garbage dumpsters from neighbourhoods unless they paid some kind of non-existent service fee, even though there were not offering any service. No fee (baad), then the garbage would stay in the neighbours' streets. The likes of Fiqi were probably the horjoogyaal of these hooked on jaad bandits, hence their dislike of nabad and nolol now. Soomaalis had a saying that says baraanbaro (roaches) cannot live in a clean environment - it prefers the dirty, stinky places. Fiqi and his cohort cannot live in a just society in full of nabad iyo nolol.

Yunis Posted May 13, 2018 MMA, You recall When Farmaajo didn't pick Fiqi as his PM a lot of people were angry at him. But he must have known something about this guy. wasting parliament's chamber on a government slogan waaba wax sahlan. Every time Fiqi stands behind a mic, he can't help himself but reminisce the mayhem of '91 and being fixated by those horrific periods of Somali history of wide-spread murder, rape and destroying entire cities & towns. Somalia really dodged a bullet with this guy.

Somalia really dodged a bullet with this guy. It is not only Farmaajo who reasoned not to give Fiqi any position. Xasan Sh. Maxamuud likewise did, hence his opposition to Xasan's government as well. He is a shady anarchist la isku haleyn arin. Meesha baarlamaan ma yaalo ee Rabi hana gaarsiiyo kuwa dadweynaha soo doortaan. Kuwaan meesha tuban waa wada tuugo badankooda. I was just listening to the new guddoomiye baarlamaan telling those xildhibaano the other day that the old ways the baarlamaan functioned is done. What is the old ways you may wonder? Meeting one hour a day in three days a week for a few weeks. That is three hours a week of parliament meeting. Then they would have months off, off to nice hotels of Nayroobi and western cities where their families live. And of course that one hour meeting was wasted for useless idle topics like the slogans nabad and nolol.
