Hunguri Posted March 17, 2007 Are women more emotional than men are ? Do they cry more?. The perception that women cry more than men is pretty widespread. But as babies and children, boys and girls cry about the same amount on average. Only during puberty do girls begin to cry more than boys do. According to a 2005 New York Times article, by age 18, women cry four times as much as men. PS:- There is a common explanation, that some societies encourage women to cry while discouraging men from crying. Among Somalis, a man who cries with tears may be viewed as weak or ineffectual. Mmmmm Why so ???

roobleh Posted March 17, 2007 First, women have more brain area for emotions and memory than men. Secondly, women's brain have more connections compared to the few connection men have.

Malika Posted March 17, 2007 Could it be we are much more intune with our feelings,or our bodies produces far more certain hormones then men.Hey all I know is,I am usually quite aware and have a sense when one feels down,is troubled..as sad movie just makes me cry,a woman raped,I weep..a hungry child,I am in pieces..could this be just a natural reaction as we[women]are the birth mothers..we feel more, even though we are not even yet mothers?
