This treatment have been going on for years and its wrong but the difference now its that people seem to think that this is ammo to be used to undermine the goverment.  Its no secret that these states have been sending hundreds of people to Ethiopian jails and sadly not many people cares about it.

BTW Referendum has rules and articles on how its called. You do not call by assumption or Ifiye thinks no Somali in planet earth would choose to be Ethiopian. You need 66.6% vote just to initiate the question. For 3 years the federal system has opportunity to address the greviences for you wanting to leave and then after the 3 years you need 66.6% of the population to confirm you want to get out of the federation.

That is what the Somali kilil people agreed through 4 of the political parties including ONLF and prominent persons conference. If you want others to play by the rules and not interfere in your self governing autonomy, then you also need to play by the rules.

Whether you and I like it or not, Ethiopia and Somalia are two separate countries. Have to abide by international laws of citizenship and immigration. Same with Djibouti, same with Kenya. Somalia can send military to attack Ethiopia, but Somalia citizens can not act on their own and expect to be treated as if sent officially. There is a British citizen who was leader of an armed opposition caught in Yemen and extradited to Ethiopia. 4 years later stil in jail. He was not sent by her majesty's government.

Why do you want to be treated as citizen and have the benefits of citizenship in Britain, Sudan, Ethiopia or Djibouti if you do not respect citizenship rules. Its that simple.

Emotions of individuals are no rules among countries. All over Africa there is divided communities by borders. Somalia has accepted this fact by signing AU membership and also specific agreement late president Barre signed with Kenya.

First of all its not hundreds, since Ethiopia will not has no capacity to go after every fighter or irridentist. Its only those in position of leadership. There has never been hundreds of leaders.

Are you folks expecting Beletweyne to help destroy Jigjiga and not expect anything in rturn? Is this even right or fair, even if we forget international rules. Simply as communities is it right?

These are things you do, even if you decide to do them in secret. If you do them in the open means like Late Barre you have declared war on Ethiopia.

SFG also has to abide by agreements entered including the late president Barre, so does Ethiopia. If SFG gives a list and also the cases, will get persons that have to be accountable in Somalia.
