Hargeisa—  Somaliland’s Wadani opposition Party leader accused of the Ruling Party of Kulmiye for using a monopoly on trade after favoring  SOMCABLE over three other companies.
“The Ruling Party of Kulmiye prevented registered companies of Dahabshiil, Telesom and Golis from linking the submarine optic fiber cable from Djibouti to Berbera or from Puntland to Berbera  while allowing SOMCABLE to do so for being their diehard supporter,” said Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Irro) the leader of the political Opposition party of Wadani during his speech in Las Anod District of Sool Province.
“You know, the Kulmiye Party is using a monopoly and breaking the law knowingly as our constitutional law defines the illegitimacy of the monopoly and encourages free trade, said Mr. Irro.
“If there is no rule of low, there is no society.”
The leader said that the Kulmiye Party argued before that the opposition parties were against the economic developments while denying Berbera to have optic fiber communications.
“What wrong has Berbera done to Kulmiye?”
The Party leader thanked the people in the Sool for giving their votes to Wadani during the last presidential election November 13, 2017.
