Samafal Posted May 6, 2018 Abdiwali has a good chance of coming back. By far he oversaw the biggest Puntland development projects and he is very shrewd politician. Simply put there is no candidate that can stop him from the list of candidates that I see now. It won't be Ali Haji and I don't think he's standing. Galbeedi says he's loaded but to the contarary he's broke after putting too much effort and money on Somalia's presidential elections. Therefore no sane businessmen would bet on him as after all him and Gaas are from the same sub sub clan. Morgan is got too much baggage and history and that Puntland would not want to be associated with. So who's left? Ina Ali Shire, the former Faroole henchman and finance minster!! If Reer Qandala want to take the helm I would advise them to fetch for another fella than this to be serious contestants. I don't think he has good reputation in Puntland. Are you hinting he's got the cash to dispense… from the UAE of course?
