Old_Observer Posted April 11, 2018 Saudi Arabia could be part of International Syria response: Saudi Crown Prince Saudi Arabia could take part in military action in Syria after a suspected chemical attack that killed at least 60 people in the eastern Ghouta region over the weekend, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said on Tuesday. U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday promised quick, forceful action in response to the attack, appearing to suggest a potential military response. "If our alliance with our partners requires it, we will be present," Prince Mohammed said at a news conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, wrapping up a three-day visit to Paris. Earlier, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir had told reporters that a number of countries were holding consultations on how to respond to a chemical weapons attack in Syria and called for those responsible to be held accountable. "Our position is that those responsible have to be held accountable and brought to justice," he said. The attack late on Saturday killed at least 60 people and hurt more than 1,000 at several sites in Douma, a town near the capital, Damascus, according to the Union of Medical Care Organizations. When asked whether Saudi Arabia could be part of such a response, Jubeir declined to comment. "I'm not going to get into speculation about what may nor may not take place but all I can say is that there are discussions with regards to the options that are available to deal with this matter," he said. http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/2/8/297377/World/Region/Updated-Saudi-Arabia-could-be-part-of-Internationa.aspx
Holac Posted April 12, 2018 That is a very interesting deflection. Bomb Yemen to the stone age, but come to the rescue of the gassed Syrians.

Everybody is looking for war anywhere and somehow. Can't fix their economies and all looking for war to forget their debts and move on. Oil will go down 30% more, that is what the Americans need to kill Russia and Iran. The Saudis will be spending all their reserve.
galbeedi Posted April 13, 2018 A lot of chicken hawks are trying to join this useless war which is only intended to destabilize the region. Even the little Frenchman Macron who is becoming un popular at home is is trying to join the Frey. Bombing Syria will not achieve any thing. America and their Wahhabi wild dogs had lost the war. If the Americans want to help the Syrian people they should rebuild the Raqqa city devastated by their air bombardment. How can you help the victims by increasing chaos. The time to oust Assad was long ago and America blew it . No one had investigated yet where the chemical shells came from. Without conclusive evidence , this war will be another one waged by the Americans on false premises just like the Iraq war. We all thought that the devastation of Syria originally was to weaken the country and eliminate the last Arab threat against Israel, but now the west want to confront Russia in order to keep the American stronghold in the middle east. The problem is there is huge difference in bombing the fools of the middle east (The Arabs) and attacking nuclear power Russia, because the later might fight back. We all hope for cooler heads to prevail. By the way, the UN , the primary organization who supposed to mediate and avoid war is no where to be seen. Where is the UN secrtatery general? These are the same people who issue constant security counsel orders in Somalia. The time has come for Somalia to kick out Mikael Keating and his do nothing organization. Noble idea and necessary, but right now you will have a lot of Somalis as enemy. There is a big Somali group that jobs and interest is dependent on this shenanigan. One way to weaken this business is refuse neighbouring countries getting paid for any help or hindrance they provide. When Ethiopia and Djibouti did it on their own it was in and out, they do not have economies and interests to stay long in Somalia. Kenya would not have come with such force and depth if there was no money getting paid. First get these countries out. Don't fight them. If you fight them you go back to square one, because each country has friends in Somalia. Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya have each enough friends in Somalia. Only ask that they do the help from their own money.
Old_Observer Posted April 13, 2018 Ducale, I watched the video and then more like that. Its amazing. The only places left with somehow original names in the last 2000 years are in Yemen, Syria, and Northern Ethiopia. Everything else with the power of money and propaganda is new names made to look like it has been there since beginning of time. The Persians as well have some names from old, but a lot changed since the Ottomans, British and Americans ruled or influenced over them. Even countries like Djibouti are becoming seemingly old where as reality is a little more than hundred years.
