Ifiye Posted April 4, 2018 Very ugly and depressing situation at the same time. I knew we were 80 percent under AmiSomia and but it now seems we are 100 percent under AmiSomia and their Western masters. This is as low as it gets. Jawaari is doing his job as spy and spoiler. His foreign handlers are coming to his rescue.

Holac Posted April 4, 2018 I am not a fan of Jawaari, but it seems Kheyre is the man in control of Villa Somalia. Farmaajo has been reduced to the role of a hiding figurehead. This would be the time to lay the ground rules and get hands dirty if you are the president, but Farmaajo is missing in action again. We know Kheyre is a very ambitious guy, but it is the job of the President to be the elder and not let the situation involving his PM get out of hand. This is a humiliation for all patriotic Somalis. Dahireeto Posted April 5, 2018 Samatar is the most honest man who comments Somali politics today. He never misses the point.

We know Kheyre is a very ambitious guy, but it is the job of the President to be the elder and not let the situation involving his PM get out of hand. This is a humiliation for all patriotic Somalis. Kheyre is in the wrong on two counts: 1. He is trying to ensure his chair by a short cut, removing the threat to his chair from parliament, instead of pushing an agenda that would benefit the country and also pushes out his opponents. He simply is trying to remove his potential threat by scandaleous means no benefit to the country. 2. His/or interest of others he is trying to put in the constitution by unconstitutional means is dangerous for the country. Constitution might be messy in the making, but for a country like Somalia and even every country in similar situation is even more messy. Kheyre and his backers must realize that just one region can throw a monkey wrench to all their plans if people are not listened to and also try to work as open and transparent as possible. There cannot be secrecy in the fundamentals of the constitution. Mr. Jawari's fault is delay and delay and delay so Farnaajo and Kheyre must have been just pushing parliament to work on this by bringing the issue on radio, tv, facebook...everywhere and shaming parliamentarians.
