Archdemos Posted March 17, 2010 Link in StrategyEye How are they going to enforce this. isn't it self defeating to cut people off. Plus there are numerous ways of hiding ones IP when illegally downloading copyrighted content. It just doesn't seem like a very well thought out bill. Also ISP's will seek to challenge this every time in court. And how many of you use torrents and P2P clients for downloading? or file sharing as its called. i personally haven't for years, moved on to direct downloads from servers. You can download i 1.4Gb/1400Mb movie in 10 mins, or quicker depending on your connection. And seeing as I'm not file sharing (torrents) but rather downloading direct from a server, than how can they distinguish between the two. The bill seems geared towards people who file share.
