Galmudug and ASWJ Assemblies unified in a ceremony in Dhusamareeb

Dhusamareb (HOL) - The assemblies of Galmudug and the paramilitary group Ahlu Sunna Wal-jama'a (ASWJ) were merged in an event held in Dhusamarreeb, the regional capital of Galmudug. The event saw the formation of Somalia's most bloated regional assembly with 178 as its members. Galmudug’s regional assembly alone had 89 members.
