LayZie G. Posted October 10, 2004 You haven't said much, other than you being displeased with Joe "I wanna know". Its easy for people to choose songs, slow jamz, but what good will it do if the couple isn't feeling the songs you chose??? If you want my suggestion, you better find out the type of music they are into, favourite artists, bands, and will take it from there. Meanwhile, you might wanna look into the slow jamz of the 70s, 80s, people love those ole school jamz, and its definitely a tango atmosphere, but it might be a little bit more appropriate for the honeymoon itself...heheh(here is some examples) Tracks: 1: I Want You - Marvin Gaye 2: I Believe in You - Johnnie Taylor 3: (If Loving You is Wrong) I Don't Want to Be Right - Luther Ingram 4: Groove Me - King Floyd 5: Best Thing That EVer Happened to Me - Gladys Knight & The Pips 6: L-O-V-E (Love) - Al Green 7: I'm So Into You - Peabo Bryson 8: Our Love - Natalie Cole 9: Have You Seen Her - The Chi-lites 10: Lovin' You - Minnie Riperton PS:Get the body + Soul Cds. It's a collection of slow jamz, and I love it.

LayZie G. Posted October 12, 2004 Tenacious J, rl, and Tyrese u say??? Wedding songs are best left ole school, the keith sweats of the ole days, the boyz ii Men as u mentioned above, and ofcourse new Edition. Speaking of new Edition, try to get these songs if u don't have them already... 1: "Lost In Love" New Edition 2: "Earth Angel" New Edition 3: "With You All The Way" New Edition 4: "Roni" New Edition (thats my favourite song, but I don't think its appropriate for a wedding.) 5: "Maryann" New Edition...(if her name is Maryann, then you definitely found the track u were looking for. I've listen to it few times myself, not bad. I checked to see if I could get the lyrics to this song, and here it is... enjoy) I’m sitting here, writing this letter, Hoping it will make you feel better. We’ve been through the sunshine and the rain. And I never realized you were in pain. Someone has mistreated you, Left you all alone and blue. And don’t you know it hurts me, too, And, baby, I know my life won’t be the the same. And if you hear me call your name... Maryann, you will never need another. Here I am. I will be your real lover. Someone else’s plans and his schemes Left you with these broken dreams- Dreams that keep you up all night, yeah. I know my life won’t be the same. And if you hear me call your name, girl. Maryann, you will never need another. Here I am. I will be your real lover. You and I could make it if stay together, baby. And if we try, we will blast off to forever. woah, woah! Maryann, you will never need another. Here I am. I will be your real lover.

Diamante Posted October 12, 2004 hey nice songs mentioned all of you but some of them are a bit inappropiate for weddings, i mean they are supposed to be happy and not be reminded of how a person was mistreated  no offence, its a nice song but ease up on the sad lyrics. i think this one So into you by Tamia mentioned by chocolaato is real nice couple of other suggestions are ginuwine - love you more jagged edge - let's get married celine dion - alive time of my live, can't remember who sang it but its that song from 'Dirty Dancing'
