Jacaylbaro Posted September 9, 2010 Terry Jones, the pastor from Gainesville, Fla., said he would cancel the event. He did so after Defense Secretary Robert Gates personally appealed to him in a phone call. HERE .............. and read the comments. ,,, The third comment made my day ,, lol
Jacaylbaro Posted September 9, 2010 Oh, so this loser in Florida now has the personal attention of the President of the United States. Is this really all one has to do to achieve this? How many other frustrated "pastors" will now join this game and get their apparently more than 15 minutes of fame? Will dozens of news cameras show up at every rinky-dink "church" that decides to have a book burning now? Will any other news ever get reported? On the other hand, if this spectacle does go forward and and catches on, I wonder how to get into the Koran printing business. And the Bible printing business in other parts of the world where they will then be routinely burned. Maybe this is a new business opportunity that could help address our unemployment problem. The Zack Posted September 10, 2010 He changed his mind again. I think the media is giving this bigot a coverage that he doesn't deserve.
N.O.R.F Posted September 10, 2010 Its interesting to see that in the space of a few weeks we have seen how things can change. The media's coverage of the Mosque and how many gave time to protesters and now they make it sound as though this guy is entitled to do what he wants without questioning his motives, if he will inflame things etc etc. His actions have prompted a 'fear the backlash' response.
