I think you can overtake the last person, say for instance, you are in 5000m race and therefore the first person can overtake the last person after couple of laps. N.O.R.F Posted February 24, 2005 ^^^If your 1st in a race and you overtake the last person (ie lap) then you are still in first position, therefore no overtaking is done, at least on the score board. N.O.R.F Posted February 25, 2005 You may be lapping and overtaking on a physical scale, ie u run pass the last person, BUT your overtaking doesnt make you go from 1st to 1st+ does it? :confused: This has actually turned into a dicussion I will carry on when one has more time!
