Paragon Posted April 15, 2007 These days, there are no fairy tales in which to become a hero. Every wide-eyed naive girl or guy wants a portion of the idealized 'heroism' but they end up in the wrong utopian play - one that gets them literally maimed . They should learn to read the scripts and understand their meaning before they jump on the stage, to later come off it with a limp! Their amateurism is their worst enemy. N.O.R.F Posted April 15, 2007 I see. This, coupled with an ever-devious media who is prodding her to 'expose' and be controversial, it looks as though she is simply being used as a tool to malign Muslims/Somalis in Norway. I would hazard a guess and say many kids become detached from parents and Islam in qurbaha. Its up to us to reel them in.

RedSea Posted April 16, 2007 Wazzup with you dee, get over it.It's just nose, the whole intention of it is just to inhale and exhale heedhe dee huuno. Violet and Northerner, the funny part is that those who had beaten her up where supposedly 'gangs' yes some gangsters defending Islam . In normal way you would think one would need to get his/her act together before trying to defend his faith. Right now all they have done is beat up innocent inan yar ah which gives the foes of Islam a window of oppurtunity to critize this noble faith. Those who wronged the lil girl had no right to do that, and have only brought more shame to us than the young girl ever intended. Darn S.O.Bs.

Paragon Posted April 16, 2007 Police arrested two young men early Monday afternoon and charged them with assaulting Norwegian-Somalian activist Kadra in downtown Oslo last week. Kadra herself had spotted her attackers on an Oslo street and called police A witness told Aftenposten that Kadra, as she's known, was seen downtown around mid-day on Monday in the company of another woman. She was seen making a call, presumably to police, who arrived shortly and arrested two persons in the area. The two, both men in their 20s, were seized near the El Dorado Cinema on Torggata in downtown Oslo about 1pm, police confirmed to Aftenposten.no. The two suspects were allegedly part of a Somalian gang that attacked Kadra in downtown Oslo last week. Police have already said they have photos of the attackers from security cameras located where the attack occurred. The young Norwegian-Somalian woman sparked the ire of some Muslims several years ago by taking part in a TV documentary that exposed Muslim leaders encouraging young woman to submit to female circumcision. The bold documentary also made Kadra well-known in Norway, and led to new legislation that forbids the practice. Kadra was back in the news recently when she told Norwegian newspaper VG that the Koran's views on women needed to be reinterpreted. She said her attackers, who kicked her and broke some of her ribs last week, screamed that she had "trampled on the Koran." The Islamic Council of Norway condemned the attack on Kadra and urged her to pursue the case with police. Source: Aftenposten, April 16, 2007

Som@li Posted April 16, 2007 Saturday 14 April 2007 Norway: Islam critic beaten unconscious Norwegian-Somalian Kadra, who became famous in Norway for exposing imam support of female circumcision, was beaten unconscious on Thursday. Source: Aftenposten (Norway) Kadra was attacked and beaten senseless by seven or eight persons of Somali origin, newspaper VG reports. "I was terrified. While I lay on the pavement they kicked me and screamed that I had trampled on the Koran. Several shouted Allah-o-akbar (God is great) and also recited from the Koran," Kadra told VG. Kadra linked the attack to recent remarks in VG where she said that the Koran’s views on women needed to be reinterpreted. Kadra said that the gang of Somali men attacked her around 3 a.m. in downtown Oslo on Thursday. A medical examination found that she had several broken ribs, NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting) reports. Kadra filed charges and was due to speak with police on Friday.

ElPunto Posted April 16, 2007 ^Horrible. Way to embody Islamic values!!! Let's beat up someone who says things we don't like. This religion needs no person's protection. If you object - object in the Islamically correct way - peacfully!

Caano Geel Posted April 16, 2007 Its truly pathetic to see men justify the beating up of women. Why don't you just castrate yourselves it'd remove any misconceptions of honour as men that may be mistakenly associated with you.
