Old_Observer Posted March 19, 2018 galbeedi, rejoicing and congratulating Turkey is one thing, but always remember that the Kurds are also victims of circumstances beyond their control. For example: They should have negotiated for some autonomy with Assad, but Americans and Israel would not permit this. They also did something worth condemnation. When Syrian soldiers under ISIS encirclement fought and surrendered to YPG, thinking that they would be send to government by some arrangement, the YPG exchanged the Syrian soldiers for their captured fighters with ISIS, knowing full well the Syrian soldiers would be killed. The kurds get too deep with empires and don't seem to control themselves even in a small way. Turkey is doing what is in her long term interest, good for her.
