Deeq A. Posted March 8, 2018 By Ahmed Abdi Somaliland— A tribal fighting killed two people on Wednesday in the Northern Somali city of Bohodle, a source of the negotiators told Somaliland Informer on Thursday. “Two people were killed and another wounded as a result of reprisals between two Sool clan clans, which added more troublesome to a region its population is already suffering from the recurrent droughts,” the source said. Elders trying to de-escalate the tension asked the warring tribes to withdrew their militias from the positions in the village of Go’ondale. Somaliland expressed concern over Wednesday’s confrontation between two brotherly sub-clans of Sool clan tribe and called for an immediate cease-fire. Northern Somali regions have been plagued by insecurity and a political chaos since the overthrow of Mohamed Siad Barre’s government in 1991.
