Old_Observer Posted March 7, 2018 "Dropping what you have under your arm pit to stretch to reach whats on top of the cupboard" No need for Mogadishu to fight with UAE unless wants to invite trouble in Mogdishu itself. Protest, file the necessary paper work everywhere and that should be it at this point. What if UAE got enough support by another issue and made parliament throw out the government or the prime minister? Then it will be so many steps back again to form government and no work to be done in the mean time.
Duufaan Posted March 7, 2018 I agree some of these people are not even sincere. The deal is over and UAE has much more to lose this point. putting pressure that small country to leave us alone is not a bad idea. Somali business people helped UAE ports to be world class hub. if they lose Somalis business people, there fear will come sooner. Both Amaan Qatar opened new ports. they could be the alternative and when Somalis leave, other Africans will flow.
maakhiri1 Posted March 7, 2018 UAE needs SOMALIS, it is about time we look for another business partner, not this country that is violating the sovereignty of our country.

But what you are forgetting is that the UAE signed an agreement with the "Somalis it needs"
Dahireeto Posted March 7, 2018 UAE is desperately talking with Somali government now. They don't want to risk being kicked out of Somalia. Some news will come out soon.

Both could be seperate and decisions by desperates is troublesome.
