Countries cannot function without a Waraabe. I remember him challenging ICU and his statement which was frowned upon initially became the statement of everyone including Meles Zenawi. Isn't Jawar the Waraabe of the Oromos?

The Amhara which he and the Oromos thought are in the bag have filtered away and now full on campaign against him. He said a few things to alley fears of Tigray Afar and that got him in hot water in Oromo. Waraabe is effective and impactful, since he is on the ground and I am sure even his mortal enemies share information with him. Waraabe is probably most informed politician, but he is on the ground confident and sometimes even arrogant. Jawar is not on the ground. Jawar can be dealt an end if telephone service is cut for a week. Not Waraabe.
maakhiri1 Posted March 2, 2018 Guys, recognition or no recognition from the desert state of UAE is nothing, so don't celebrate for nothing. Either way UAE ambassador has been summoned to Ministery of Forreign Affairs in Mogadishu with, please Explain!

Cannot be with Turkey Qatar since the UAE Saudis would just make Mogadishu hell, worst than what is being done. Some regions are also in the bag for UAE. Its just so difficult. Exactly same as 1890s. I would say get out of Mogadishu and work on having a Somali government. The regions would come running to compete and you need much less if any AMISOM. Remember when Jowhar warlord guaranteed with his life and a lot of property if late Abdullahi Yusuf chose his city?

Suldaanka Posted March 3, 2018 So this is it. Djibouti is under pressure to meet its Chinese debt obligations. And the Chinese are after collateral .
maakhiri1 Posted March 3, 2018 Suldaanka, what did AfricaIntelligence said about SOMALILAND and Berbera port? Quote Some of this evidence reportedly indicates that DP World made a habit of claiming that logistical capacity at the DCT had been exceeded and then suggesting to interested parties that they reroute their maritime freight to the Emirates. War nimankan Carabta ha la iska ilaaliyo, LUGUUYO bay wadaan, iyo fariidnimo.

The agreement with DPWorld is to build in two phases two 400m deep ports capable of handling the largest vessels which have a depth of 18m. The deal also includes the establishment container storage facility which is 250m by 1km area. Also additionally the establishment of Berbera Free Zone, a location where companies can bring their good without getting any tax applied. The first phase is to build 400m port and only after both the existing port which is 650m long are at 75% capacity, then this will trigger the building of the second phase which is an additional 400m deep port. This complete the current agreement. Hence, if they claim that Berbera is at capacity, at least that is a trigger point to build the second phase.

Or as they say in that famous Godfather trilogy of movies: ".....Keep your friends close but keep your enemies even closer....." But Oodweyne has respect for this "enemy". At least this "enemy" is working for his interest. That no matter how disappointed you can be with the political and propaganda, misdirecting, shenanigans, this is an "enemy" not serving any foreigner or Bedewin. This brother is serving himself. The road is going to be built to cross as much as possible of Somali kilil. In Ethiopia is being said even to make it longer by about 100km than it needs to be so that it crosses the most provinces possible, before joining the road Djibouti Ethiopia on its way to Addis Ababa.
