Is this the most brilliant solution for traffic jams?

Are you by any chance learning Chinese, Libaax? If so, care to translate? :D I didn't actually realize that the shell-looking thing the cars were driving underneath was actually the bus until near the end of the video LOL but yeah it looks cool.

Cara.

Oh! I couldn't watch to the end of the video so I was mightily confused. Somehow I thought the cars get into the bus thing, then some sort of signal is sent and the bus controls the cars to make them speed up or slow down so they merge better with the traffic redface.gif

^^ Norf, it is cheaper than the subway system and more efficient than "light rail systems" when it comes to traffic jams.

Cara, here is the English version (computer translated) :D

Norf, obviously a new track needs to be laid and it does require some passenger stop infrastructure and charging system, but it is way cheaper than building a subway system in a heavily populated city like Beijing. The proposed “Straddling Bus” seems more superior to traditional “light rail system” when it comes to traffic bottlenecks. It doesn’t require a dedicated lane and cars have the ability to pass underneath.

It is a “cheap” solution for a huge problem in a city with 22 million.

In Toronto, we have the "street car" system and it is always a headache.

Everything is cheap in China saxib :D

Subway yes. Elevated light rail, not sure. Savings on steel and concrete I suppose but remember this will be turning corners and needs a whole new solution.

Dee ana Dubai aan xayasiiyo :D
