Deeq A. Posted February 17, 2018 HARGEISA– The President of Somaliland, Musa Bihi Abdi met today with a delegation from the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) in East Africa. The delegation is led by Hon. Mohamed Guyo and is accompanied by IGAD special adviser, Hon. Abdikarim Mohamed. President Musa and the IGAD delegation discussed areas of mutual interest pertaining to the security, stability and the Horn of Africa in general. The two sides have discussed on the issue of Tukaraq which the incumbent president has reiterated its stance that Somaliland is securing its borders and has no intention to invade any. They also have spoken on projects that IGAD implements in the country in line with the national development plan. The president and IGAD have talked about the Somaliland-Somalia dialogue which is about to restart after a short pause. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
