Somaliland: President Meets with Danish Ambassador

Somaliland President His Excellency Musa Bihi Abdi met with Danish ambassador to Somalia, Mette Knudsen and flanked by Head of Danish Development Cooperation (Danida), Anne Elisabeth  at the presidential palace on Thursday.

Issues that were high on the agenda include the drought, parliamentary and local council election, boosting the freindly relations between the two countries, and the resumption of Somalia-Somaliland dialogue.

The President has condoled the Danish government over the death of the husband of the queen of Denmark.

The Head of State has expressed thanks to the Danish government for its contribution to the aid its gives to Somaliland.
