If you think tribal bloodline will make a better system or government, you haven't learned anything about politics. You might use identity politics or tribal allegiance to gain power, but once you get elected you must use common sense and work for the common good of all  the people. 

 

Good politicians are forced to play the bad game of electioneering which is corrupt, unjust and forces them to pander to the lowest common denominator, but once you get elected you must inspire people and do the right thing.  Obama might appeal to the needs and aspirations of the black Americans in the democratic primary, and then appeal to the laeger white middle class in general election, yet when you attain power, you must empower people and try to give the tools to achieve success. 

 

A warlord like Muuse can only go as far as his incompetence. It all started in a village called Garadag in Sanaag where Siilaanyo cried for his tribe to help him win against Rayaale. Even the leader of the Guurti Saleebaan Gaal , who was member of UDUB party,  was called to attend the tribal gathering of Siilaanyo. Waxa lagu yidhi Siilaanyo ka hor leexo. The Jeegaan replaced a working government and transformed to a tribal entity. That is the actions of those who lack both confidence and integrity.

 

There were great men of knowledge and  wisdom who understood state craft  that campaigned for Muuse Biixi, men like Proff. Samatar, Jamaal Huseen , C/laahi Dheere, and others. It was Proff. Samatar who raised the profile of the warlord and made him human and logical. If people like Samatar kept their distance, Muuse could not go anywhere with likes of Ina Kahin, and Zaylici. 

 

Rather than use these men of great wisdom, he chose the typical Jeegaan modus operandi of guarding against great men from other tribes while nominating amatuer yes men. He either have to listen those who know or he will go down with illiterate officials like Ina Kahin, Wasiir Hinda, and criminals like the minister of infrastructure Abdillahi Osman Abokor.

 

Imagine, that in order to tackle the inflation that robbed people of their savings and made many people poor,  the warlord president said, " Saddex Maalmood i siiya anaa war ka keenayee". how can anyone could tackle these issue in just  three days. Worse of all, he nominated the ' Wasiirka Kaluumaysiga" a man who knows nothing about currency banking or inflation as the chairman of the commission., just he is from Jeegaan. They do not want to address the elephant in the room which is the illegal  printing of money by the bank. Samatar told them during the campaign that banking and financial institutions should be independent from political interference and nepotism, yet the Jeegaan thinks, just like tribal elders, politicians and business they can buy their way out to every problem.
