Health Ministry will not issue license for medical health centers in Somaliland

HARGEISA–Health Minister Dr Hasan Ismail Yusuf, says his Ministry will not issue any license to privately owned medical health centers in Somaliland for a period of six months. This was disclosed by the ministry of health (MOH) as the minister has issued a new directive and has submitted the circular to the regional health coordination for the health ministry that all medical licenses have been suspended. The minister has announced that the suspension takes effect starting from 11th February 2018. The health ministry has suspended the opening of private pharmacies, hospitals and medical institutions in Somaliland.
