Agriculture Minister & FAO discuss ways to increase food production in Somaliland

The Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Ahmed Mumin Seed held talks with European Union (EU) and Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) to support his campaign which aims to increase local production in order to attain food self sufficiency. The minister has made the remarks in a meeting held at Mansour Hotel where the ministry of agriculture in conjunction with FAO discussed ways to overcome barriers in attaining food sufficiency in Somaliland.

The minister has stressed that local farmers called on set up irrigation which FAO in conjunction with the European Union is implementing in farming in Togder.
