STOIC Posted January 28, 2006 You might think all the fidgeting, frowning, and raising of the eyebrow every second by author Frey was not enough indication to Oprah that the addict was lying. I remember watching Oprah last year, (Hush, men do watch Oprah sometimes) women and men calling about how “Million Little Pieces†changed their lives forever! I personally don’t blame Oprah a bit, but I think she went a little too far when she called in Larry King show to defend the author after the allegation of his misrepresentation surfaced on the web. I usually tend to have mistrust on personal introspection and memories. I think Oprah will be careful next time before she airs any misrepresentations of facts. I know it is hard for Oprah to check how far the author was removed from the facts but I think It wasn’t that hard for the publishing company to verify the statements of the author.
