A statement from China’s Huawei Marine, reveals that HM was completing a ‘desktop study’ for a new subsea cable system, dubbed the ‘Peace Subsea Cable’ whose first phase is meant to connect South Africa, Kenya, Djibouti, Somalia and Pakistan (Gwadar and Karachi).
