nuune Posted August 5, 2008 Kool-Kaat, his original ku dhufo wiilasha by 5 then ku dhufo by 2 then ku dar gabdhaha is wrong, that is why you got the wrong number. Xataa wuu hilmaamay gamekii here is the correct mode: 1- multiply the number of your brothers by 2 2- add 3 3- multiply by 5 4- add the number of your sisters Finally what ever number you got, substruct by 15, then you got boys and girls Odeyga aan ka gambisto marka
Abtigiis Posted August 5, 2008 5(2X+3) + Y - 15 Where X = no. of boys Y = no. of girls Saas miyaa Nuune. In conventional algebra, you don't solve for two variables in a single equation at the same time. X = -Y-15/10. Ii sheeg aan kuu sheegee hadayna jirin no one would have solved for it. nuune Posted August 5, 2008 Dhubad, JB, xisaabtaa dhowr jeer ku dhacdeen Form Four Example, I got 7 brothers, 2 sisters, now, 7 brothers x 2=14+3 =17 x 5 ---------- 85+2 sisters = 87 Total calculation - 15 the secret number ---------- 72-total after secret number 7-boys 2-girls Who is ready in curadka loo sheego be it boy or girl
Abtigiis Posted August 5, 2008 That gamble of chilhood actually works as long as the number of both boys or girls in your family don't exceed 9. It has no provision for a family size of 10 boys and 6 girls. The trick was if the final result is 76, it would mean 7 boys and 6 girls. Now tell me how would that two digit explain a family of 11 and 6.

Dhubad. Posted August 5, 2008 lool@nuune, Yaaba Form Four dhigtayba sxb....waa la ibootiyay. You didn't include the secret number that you have deducted from the total in your previous formula, hence why I ended up 12 So what is the secret number? Mise X baan ku raadiyaa
