It seems war is inevitable but are these young men dying for really?

In this war , the Sool community will pay and get paid in blood money.

 

People say 70-80% of those who will fight on both sides are from Sool community. At the same time the politicians who are making money in this war are also from the Sool community. 

 

This war might bring down Muuse Biixi. 

 

I also believe that Ethiopia is pushing this war for both political reasons and to bear bad news among Somalis. It may also trying to punish C/weli Gaas for cooperating with Farmaajo to enhance the national government. Without Puntland the the regional governments can not muster an effective opposition front. 

 

In 2007, when C/laahi Yusuf came to Mogadishu and defeated the Islamic courts, Rayaalle took over Laascaanood with blessing of Ethiopia. 

 

If this war breaks out , I am sure Somaliland will lose Laascaanood and Bixi will go down as the man who engineered this.

Another idea is the Sool army members from Somaliland might take their technicals and switch sides at any moment.

If you are saying this for simply "blame Russia" style, maybe, but as things stand now if it doesn't involve Somali state will not involve Ethiopia.

 

If you think president Formaajo will have problem from Ethiopia or he is fighting Ethopia think again. He has no benefit or interest in that policy, unless sometimes for public consumption for the gullible. You will see after he puts few things in order will be again Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia straight line.

 

If he drives Illey mad then yes Ethiopia will be there. This is not like Melles times where there were 4 cabinet ministers and few generals that spoke Somali. The last thing in the world president Formaajo needs is unhappy Illey or Ghele.

 

Somaliland and Puntland issues are a no go for Ethiopia. Ethiopia has every clan and sub clan of Somali more than Somalia itself.
