Deeq A. Posted January 24, 2018 Somaliland’s former industry minister, Hon. Shuaib Mohamed Muse has a new venture– running a bread industry in Hargeisa, Somaliland’s capital. The former politician is chairman and controlling of a firm operating a business serving bread. The bakery industry is located next to Mansor Hotel which lies in the north west of Hargeisa. At least three former government ministers under president Silanyo’s administration started a new business after they have failed to get a ministerial portfolio in Bihi’s cabinet. Former tourism minister also started a teaching post at high school in Hargeisa.
Old_Observer Posted January 24, 2018 What a surprise. First good thing they are staying put at home and secondly getting busy and productive. Not something politicians do even in America. Once a politician they get stuck in it and circle around it.

Holac Posted January 25, 2018 The question is, where did he get the money to open a large bakery?

For sure he had some money before becoming minister. There is no poor average that becomes minister anywhere in the world. You need to have fairly good job or money to even attend meetings let alone to be connected and famiiliar enough to be minister. 2. He could have saved since most expenses of ministers are paid/reimbursed 3. Someone who has been minister can easily get loans Negative side: Sorry I do not know enough to answer the question, but guess which is never good against character of individual.

YoniZ Posted January 25, 2018 Well done former minister. The South East Asian model, where politicians invest money back in the economy is much better option than the African model.
