Suldaanka Posted January 18, 2018 Wuxu qiray in Ciidanka Qaranka Somaliland yahay ciidan dhisan oo ka madax banaan qabyaalad iyo qolo qolo. Waana ciidanka kali ah ee intii burburkii Somalia ka dib sidan oo kale u habaysan.
galbeedi Posted January 18, 2018 Suldaanka, You are a good and young soldier defending Somaliland as much as you can, but we know the fact is different than the actual reality of the SL army. It is true that many of the foot soldiers are from different regions, but the officers are exclusively from Muuse Biixi clan. Never seen in the history of any somali region or government , except Jubbaland and SL were more than half of the officers came from one single clan. They have 16 colonels out of the 30, including the chief of the army. If you ad their Burco sidekick that makes them more than 70%. AS we speak , there is a new slogan which the Somaliland people are saying loudly . "Dhiiga Soomaalida , lagu midayn maayo Soomaaliland" No one is willing to die to boost the standing of Ina Biixi. People from every region are calling their boys not to die for the Jeegaan.
maakhiri1 Posted January 18, 2018 Agree , the SL army are far more discipline, and well structured than rest of SOMALIA, why, I think it is alot to do how the formation started, the earlier to form, the better, with still know-how and expertise from Siyad Barre government, alot of them now aging. Burburkii iyo Qaski SOMALIDA kale bay ka badbaadeen ba la oran karaa. As for the composition, I have no clue, I know it is mainly there to protect the interest of the elites at top. Suldaanka Posted January 18, 2018 Galbeedi, You are reading too much into Jeegaanta. Like its predecessor coalition "Maryo Allolism" - this periodic interest based political grouping will whither. But one thing will remain consistent and that is Somaliland and its progress. Maakhiri, That is correct. There has been knowledge transfer over the years along with consistent budget which has always been paid on time. The biggest change to the Army actually took place under Dahir Rayaale Kahin. And under Silaanyo, the army rankings were established. It is a work in progress but in the right direction.
