Somali singer, Khadija Dies at 82

TORONTO– Ms. Khadija Abdilahi Daleys, was born in 1936 in Baidabo and was the first to sing live at Radio Mogadishu in 1952. becoming the first female recording vocalist in Somalia particularly the South. She died in a hospital in Toronto according to reports. Ms. Khadija was among Wabari band.
