Tallaabo Posted January 2, 2018 I don't know what to say; this is beyond ridiculous!! Banning the new year celebrations, forcefully shaving peoples' hair, assaulting law abiding visitors without any charge, etc., all without any legislation and public awareness campaigns as Galbeedi pointed out!! Is Somaliland a democracy or dictatorship, or theocracy; what is it? Why are the law abiding youth targeted when a large number of Somaliland's political and social elite are drug addicts and alcoholics? What about the rampant corruption in all the branches of government and in every level of the society? Why is the police force in Hargeisa wasting its time doing the job of the barbers when armed robbers roam the streets every night terrorising the population? If the people of Somaliland do not tell these useless politicians what their priorities aught to be, then Somaliland will definitely take a lot of steps backwards.

How many unacceptable mistakes will they make before they learn that Somaliland has something called a constitution?
