Holac Posted December 25, 2017 Quote “seems to confirm many of the worst rumors not only about Saudi treatment of Hariri, but also of others.” MBS has Jared on his payroll. No accountability.
anoo kale Posted December 25, 2017 These Arabs are so amateurish and impulsive it is unbelievable, no wonder Iran is able to pick off one Arab state after the other. Only Somalis are more myopic and fickle than them MBS will be a disaster for KSA, I defended him as a reformer on this forum but I have changed my mind, that guy is stupid, rash and very profligate. Dude bought a yacht for $400 million, Salvator Mundi painting for $450 million, and the straw that broke the camel's back: a $300 million chateau in France. He is no reformer but a typical Arab prince. His father is also extremely extravagant and lavish in his spending on luxury, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as they say.
Old_Observer Posted December 26, 2017 Bedewin with money. And since they have money the western countries are tripping on each other for them. The competition between America, France and UK is just unseemly, empires old and current. The Lebanon case is the best. Now even the Suni in Lebanon have more sympathy with Hizballah than with Gulf states. The election of Michael Auon was what broke Saudi and UAE in Lebanon. The Jerusalem issue will conclude it all in favour of HizbAllah. The support of christians to HizbAllah is now complete. Saudis are caught by the intensity of conflict in USA. Old_Observer Posted December 26, 2017 This is getting to be soup opera every day that passes. The American journalist who is the daily’s bureau chief in Beirut said Hariri was summoned early on Friday November 2 to Riyadh. “Mr. Hariri, long an ally of the Saudis, dressed that morning in jeans and a T-shirt, thinking he was going camping in the desert with the crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman.” “But instead he was stripped of his cellphones, separated from all but one of his usual cluster of bodyguards, and shoved and insulted by Saudi security officers. Then came the ultimate indignity: He was handed a prewritten resignation speech and forced to read it on Saudi television.” Read the rest here: http://english.almanar.com.lb/414610

Old_Observer Posted December 26, 2017 The gulf arabs cannot connect properly being Bedewin, a lot of windfall money, and excercise of power/influence from that money. Look at this item: Tunisian government officials said the UAE had banned Tunisian women from flying to or transiting through its territory. Tunisia has banned Emirates airline from landing in the capital Tunis after a number of Tunisian women were prevented from boarding its flights. The main and hidden reason is: Tunisia's Ennahda party - part of the governing coalition - also has links to Qatar Incredibily childish steps by UAE and their airline.
