Deeq A. Posted December 24, 2017 HARGEISA—President, Col. Musa Bihi Abdi and Wadani main Opposition chairperson, Hon. Abdirahman Irro have met officially for the first time after presidential election. The two leaders met at Somaliland’s presidential palace on Sunday. The Chairman has been flanked by the deputy chairman during the high level meeting. According to a presidential statement said that the president and the opposition reached an agreement which is aimed at burying the hatchet and heal the post election scars that the recently held presidential poll left behind. The President has extended the invitation to the opposition and both have come to the conclusion to see eye to eye on nation interest should always come first. It is agreed that opposition should always come up with constructive criticism and the government should have the patience to correct its wrongs that the opposition should point the finger to.
