Ethiopia, Somaliland Bilateral ties remain strong

Ethiopia, Somaliland are enjoying a period of having good bilateral ties according to SL representative to Ethiopia, Ali Hussein Ismail aka “Ali Shoombe”. The envoy told Geeska Afrika, local paper published in Hargeisa and said that the deals signed between the two countries will be carried out by Musa Bihi’s new administration. Hon. Shoombe has declared that the road linking Somaliland to Ethiopia particularly Wajale road will commence soon as the technical committees from both sides are in action. The envoy to Ethiopia further stated that the Ethiopian transport minister who spoke to BBC Somali services admitted the relation between Somaliland and Ethiopia remains good and strong.Speaking on Somaliland consulate in Ethiopia, the envoy said that their mission is to bring the two nations closer together.
