Mourinho is a good man manager but never in his entire career has he unearthed a promising player or nurtured any academy players (how many years was he at Chelsea and how many young players came up since?). On the contrary, Mourinho's talent lies in improving the lot of already established players. Drogba was already good when he bought him, Ballack was a household name, Lampard, Terry, Cech, Essian and Cole were all good players already. Inter's team was full of world class players and even when he went out and bought new ones, he bought older, more experienced players.
