Somaliland President-Elect Receives EU parliamentry Delegation

HARGEISA-– President Elect, Musa Bihi Abdi received on Sunday European parliamentary delegation which spearheads Somaliland’s quest of an international recognition from the world.

Hon. James Carver, a member of the European Parliament for the West Midlands region for the UK Independence Party (UKIP) is leading the delegation, is accompanied by Ray Finch, who is also a member of the European parliament for the South East England for the UK Independence Party (UKIP), and Hon. Stephen Atkinson, a special adviser to James Carver on foreign affairs.

The President-Elect has commended the gallant endevours embarked upon by EU parliament members in the quest of Somaliland’s recognition from the world. Mr. Musa has praised the ongoing attempts within the EU parliament that the members have started to lobby for Somaliland’s recognition. The President-Elect has pledged to work with them and provide whatever assistance if need be.

The EU parliamentary delegation congratulated on President-Elect to carry on the quest of Somaliland’s statehood and further pledged to extend helping a hand to the new incoming administration in its search of the deserved admission into world countries.
