MR ORGILAQE Posted December 9, 2004 I used to share a flat with a number of Sijui boys some of whom could not so much as utter a word in Somali.One day we were just lazying around the living room when the phone rang.One of the boys who couldn't speak somali answered the phone.On the other side there was this old man who was calling from Somalia looking for a relative of his who was staying with us. The sijui guy picks up the phone and says "hello" The old man instead of introducing himsef says "waa kuma"Now for those of you who dont speak swahili"kuma" means "female genitals" inshort.The sijui guys takes the phone off his ear and holds it up looking at the phone in amazement at what he heard,his face all crunched up in anger and then puts the phone to his ear and replies" waa mbooro" mboro in swahili is "male genitals".Now we were looking at him wondering what was happening and then something is said to him by the old mand and he drops the phone holding his sides laughing as if there is no tomorrow.We later find out that the old man thinking this guys name is "mbooro" says "war mbooro majooga cabdulahi cismaan" Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
