DA_BEAST Posted March 3, 2003 Well i think each and every football fan or player has his own dream team so this your chance to put togather the team you think are the best in the world. P.S you can choose your own team if you like as long as they stand a chance against the best of the rest so this is how i chose my dream team and yes they are my final choice. 1-FRANCESC TOLDO INTER ITALY 2-JAVIER ZANETTI INTER ARGENTINA 3-ROBERTO CARLOS R/MADRID BRAZIL 4-ALESSANDO NESTA A.C MILAN ITALY 5-PAOLO MALDINI A.C MILAN ITALY 6-EDGAR DAVIDS JUVENTUS HOLLAND 7-LUIS FIGO R/MADRID PORTUGAL 8-ZINEDINE ZIDANE R/MADRID FRANCE 9-RONALDO DA LIMA R/MADRID BRAZIL 10-PATRICK KLUIVERT BARCELONA HOLLAND 11-RIVALDO ? A.C MILAN BRAZIL that's my dream team so let's see if your dream team stand a chance against my super stars. i think this proves what kind of football that i enjoy watching a free flowing and full of skills i'm a type of person who likes to see the ball do all the running instead of the player. N.O.R.F Posted March 4, 2003 winger, this is a versatile team with no ristritions in their play, they can play 3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-3-3! Free roles for zizou and ronaldino, henry on the left coming inside, carlos over lapping, ronaldo doin the bizz! ps do u know when the champ league final tickets will be goin on sale anyone, i know it may still be early! DA_BEAST Posted March 4, 2003 I GOTTA TELL YOU GUYS I MUST FANCY MY CHANCES ESPECIALLY AGAINST WINGER AND NORTHENER AND YOU KNOW THAT I AIN'T LYING GUYZ RIGHT? P.S MY LINE UP IS 3-4-1-2. ZIDANE BEING BEHIND THE FRONT 2 OF KLUIVERT AND RONALDO.
Baaniyal Posted March 4, 2003 good lineups folk, i guess everyone fancies there chances against the others! It seems everyone keeps a biased claim towards their favourite leagues, so i will do the same ! 1. Oliver Khan 2. Cafu 3. Nesta 4. Chivu 5. R. Carlos 6. Luis Figo 7. Vieira 8. Zizou 9. Overmars 10.Henry 11.Ronaldo(-10 pounds) My system is an orthodox 4-4-2, that relies much on power, pace and skill. Also the brazilian connection and french connection, should be an advantage as these players know each other's styles very well and being the most recent world champions should be intimadating enough, lol! Thinkerman Posted March 4, 2003 I can only Cangrats u with u ahve made some excellent selectins. Howvere personaly i think i would get rid of Henry and stick Rivaldo there and reunite the three R's. But i think team would give anyone a run for their money.
DA_BEAST Posted March 5, 2003 SHUJUI_1 are you serious?RUUD VAN NISTELROOY? come on now you can't expect him to score against my team that's for sure. statistically the best 2 strikers in the world are RONALDO and PATRICK KLUIVERT by miles. RAUL is slightly behind then PIPPO INZAGHI so whoever chose these players has a mighty chance but who didn't then doesn't even deserve to be in here and i mean it LOL. i'm really really surprised to see that i'm the only one who chose KLUIVERT and none of you even mentioned SUPER PIPPO or RAUL.
Baaniyal Posted March 5, 2003 don't know where you got such stats from Beast, and if they are consistent with this season's and last season's performances. Ronaldo has not done anything last season to suffice your claims, as for this season he at best been mediocre in a team that creates chances like there's no tommorow but still he is quite a show. For Kluivert, it's simple, Young Saviola has over shadowed and outperformed him. Saviola basically creates all the chances Kluivert converts. And he also scores just as much if not more than Kluivert. Kluivert would be the last striker i would eva pick. I think everyone's list in the end depends much on favouritisim and less on consistency.
