galbeedi Posted September 4, 2017 This gentleman has cleared the case for many, yet deafening silence from the government is not the answer. When you have Mustafe Dhuxulow and His cousin as Ethiopian ambassador, expect many more issues. If Farmaajo does not clear the Ethiopian spies , he will not finish his term. General Gabre insisted, and many were trying to satisfy him. The bigger issue is that the appointment of personnel on tribal loyalty . Rather than appoint competent Somalis who could see the big picture. Dad Soomaaliyeed oo garanaya khatarta ay Ethiopia ku hayso mushtamaca aya jira. Farmaajo waxaan kula talin lahaa in uu Soomaalida xalaasha ee kartida leh u dhiibo arrimaha muhiimka ah.
galbeedi Posted September 4, 2017 I was targeting director Sanbaloolshe, but a good source who is well connected told me that, the Director of NISA (National intelligence service agency) is one of the toughest men in the Farmaajo government. He has no fear, and he knows how to confront the threat. In 2013, he even arrested a corrupt member of parliament who were trying to free a suspected Al-shabaab operative. galbeedi Posted September 4, 2017 Who is this young man? Hadafkeeni iyo waxii awowyaasheen Raadinayeen ma burburin Ee kuwa inaga dambeeyina raadin doonaan , iyo inta isirkeena Soomaaliga Ahi jiraan raadin doonaan, ntaasi ma burbrin. Shaqsiyaad baa fashilmay e Soomaalinimo ma fashilmin. If this is the new generation of Somalis, then there is great hope.

Suldaanka Posted September 5, 2017 What Galbeedi doesn't realise yet is that the only thing Farmaajo had going for him was he used "Somalinimo" to fight off many of his challengers. And there is no shortage of challengers in Mogadishu. Today, however, without that "armour", he is a naked man in a hostile city. It is downhill from here. And if he tries to stick around, it will be a very harsh terrain for him to walk. According to Somali journalist Jamal Osman, Farmaajo now has 20% support, which is mainly composed of the vested interest groups i.e. clan supporters, supporters of ministers etc.
Che -Guevara Posted September 5, 2017 The cruel and immoral action aside, Farmajo is not even good politician. A lot times politics is about optics. He and Somalia gained no political capital.
galbeedi Posted September 5, 2017 Peace-Action, Of course, this kind of a mess will attract different people with different agenda, but at this moment you can not blame the opportunist politicians who like to replace Kheyre or even Farmaajo. The Qalbi-Dhagax affair has unleashed the power of the Somali people both inside Somalia and the diaspora. The Somali people are engaged more than ever to heir national issues. From Minneapolis, to Manchester, from Edmonton, Atlanta, the power of the Somali social media was unleashed. If Famaajo was politician he would have used this new power to his own advantage. Ethiopia and their spies are scared to death. This new Somali nationalism does not want to beg anyone. It is the same enthusiasm shown in February 08, 2017, that is reclaiming their own government. Cabdi Illey has released 600 prisoners, not because he has change of heart, but it was ordered by his overlords who scared of us Somalis. Farmaajo could use this outrage by cleaning the house. He can not delegate the state powers to his in-laws and those who have sinister agenda. Please do not attack the Somalia who are standing up to the tyranny of the TPLF. There are those who believe that this was a political coupe similar to those faced by Erdogan in a minor scale and the president must purge those who were responsible. Others believe that the president is spineless and weak politician who was could not make the tough decisions needed by his office. He doesn't know the weakness of the Ethiopian government who is under pressure from different groups. Noe is the time to kick them out of Somalia and it's affaires. Kuwan leh Dwaladiidka ha la soo qabto, waxaan leeyahay kibirka joojiya. Reer GEdo waa dad Soomaaliyeed oo aanu jecelahay oo wadaniyiin ah. 27 sanadood ee la soo dhaafayna muujiyey Soomaalinimo laakiin waxaad moodaa marka ay awooda helaan in ay waxoogaa kibrayaan. Walaalayaal dadkan inoo taliya 80% Qurba ayay ka tageen . Way garanayaan sobobta loo dhaliilayo. Sanad ka hor Farmaajo halkan aan fadhiyo oo kale ayuu fadhiyey. Reerkiisu ma dooran mana keenin ee Soomaali baa dooratay. Balan buuna lagalay dadka Soomaaliyeed in uu sharaftoota kor u qaado. Lagama yeelayo in uu dhuunto marka hawshu kululaato ama uu Ethiopia ka dalbado in ay dhiiqada ka saarto. Cabdi Illey , ma badbaadin karo Farmaajo. Taa waxa ka daran General Gabre waan erinay ayey nagu yidhaahdeen markay probagaandaha u Samaynayeen. Misna wiil Soomaali ah oo Ethiopia u shaqeeya oo reerka ah ayey Villa-Somalia keensadeen. Waa arrin lagu yaqaano madaxda Soomaalida, marka ay mushkilad yari ka hortimaado , kama leexan karaan ama ma furdaamin karaan. Mr. President , you can run , but you can not hide. galbeedi Posted September 5, 2017 Turkey had stopped contributing to the budget four months ago, and Farmaajo is seeking help from Al-Sisi of Egypt. Minister YUsuf Garaad had written a bizarre letter to America seeking help to stop Al-shabaab from mining Uranium in central Somalia. Everyone knows that Al-shabaab does not have the means to mine nor to transport Uranium to Iran. Al-shabaab is in Balcad, Afgooye and Leego. They just attacked on the outskirts of Kismaayo. Remember, America is still fighting Al-qeada in Yemen despite the raging civil war. Adeer isku tashada oo shaqaa la idinka rabaa in aad qabataan. Wadanka Ugaandha iyo Ameerika idiin nabadeyn mayso. Haddii kale wakhtiga hanaga dilena e noo baneeya meesha anagaa shaqada qabsanaynee.
YoniZ Posted September 6, 2017 One thing that surprised me most is, how this government has dealt with Qalbidhagaxi's case. I give them credit for taking the lead and not leaving the matter at the hands of Dhusamareeb or Cadado factions - whoever caught the guy first. It is very easy to play nationalism card in this kind of cases. However, for these guys sitting at the top office, they have to make some tough decisions. Regardless of rightness or wrongness in taking this kind of action. What this government did is not 100 free from error, but I believe it benefits the nation in the long term. They need to ask for more prisoner releases, and opening up the border for trade activities. One thing I have been proven wrong is that, Mr Farmaajo is a naive politician who can't take tough decisions. He has got a good team, and they should put the benefit of the nation as a whole before empty rhetoric. We will fight an other day, today the response is flight. I wish we had leaders who could grasp that wisdom in the 70s. Despite the fact, I find very hard to support this action. I have some unanswered questions here: We know the guy has been living in Mogadishu in the past few years, and nobody gave a dead rat about it. Why did he below his cover up?Why did he went to south Mudug/Dhusamareeb where many competing dark forces are stationed? If the previous agreements between the two countries - we now know, these agreements are signed none other than the Damjadiid boys- had permitted this kind of the arrangements. Why is there an outcry? How naive were the guys who celebrated and applauded FGS for bringing 130+ released prisoners home? Don't they know these kind of arrangements are two way traffic? Do you think the guys at the the top office are there to make everyone happy, and not take some controversial decisions?
Peace Action Posted September 6, 2017 It is definitely a political miscalculation the way it is being handled but it will not have lasting impact simply because the current government is on the right track in raining in on corruption, promoting good government, preparing for the eventual departure of Amisom. The FG, Puntland and Somaliland all committed these reprehensible acts before and nothing happened. May be this act will start discussion about the future of ONLF, it's mission and strategy going forward..
