Peace Action Posted August 13, 2017 The secessionist project success always depends on the support from Sool, Sanag or Awdal. In other words, it is not in your hands, hence the occasional display of a supporter who hail from these regions, however immaterial. We have seen this film too many times and the ending is always the same; fail.

We have seen this film too many times and the ending is always the same; fail. It is beyond that now. The world is not ready for another begging bowl. One Somalia is enough drain on their wallets let alone two Somalia's. That is why the idea of Somaliland ever getting recognized is unrealistic. Suldaanka Posted August 14, 2017 Regardless of clan or region, one thing is a sure fact and that's every citizen is a valued member of this nation. That however doesn't mean, all need to be on board in order to move forward. No. Rather, what it means, the base of development, speed of recovery and dream to see Somaliland as a leader in the region if not Africa as a continent, can only be realised if all members are working towards the same goals. If however, as we have seen in the past 26 years, that we remain divided, then surely we will keep moving but not as quickly as we would wished we were. The days of Unionists providing an alternative to Somaliland's independence is all but over. The Federalist system in Mogadishu has been the final nail on that coffin. Peace Action Posted August 14, 2017 Unity will always triumphant secession. To say otherwise will be to go against history and the commands of our Lord and the teaching of our noble religion.
Suldaanka Posted August 15, 2017 In the Somali context, Unity is a misnomer. It was word born out of a mistake. Like all mistakes, one draws a lesson from it and swears never repeat it. The "unity" that people are looking for, which is based on "justice", "fairness", freedom and love for one another. That "unity", the path to that "Unity", runs through accepting Somaliland today and letting the future generations decide if and when they want to form that kind of "United Somali" utopia. yaasin jaamac Posted August 18, 2017 There is nothing wrong with sl going its own way but the problem is how they are going about it. hating on Somali, victim mentality and "walaalaheen Ethiopia" is not gonna cut it.
Peace Action Posted August 20, 2017 The former SL foreign minister is in Mogadishu right now, does that mean SL is finished. I will repeat once again "qabilkayga iyo qaran kaladaa" as long as SL independence is dependent on other clans, you have no control over your destiny as far as becoming a fully recognized independent country. There is nothing wrong with dreaming, keep the peace and make progress and leave the destiny to future Somali generations.
Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted August 25, 2017 What about this dude pictured below? He is currently in Xamar, desperately trying to be named into a government position, same like his fellow folks did in the recent years. Like her? Sida kan oo kale. Ama kan? War lee maa wadeynaa. Johnny B Posted August 25, 2017 Quite the contrary Mr MMA. Most if not all those you presented , technically were and remain citizens of Somalia who clan-wise hail from the secession-pioneering clan in the north. while those presented by our secessionist Mr Suldaanka technically are citizens of Somalia who despite not belonging to the secession-pioneering clan in the north, for a reason or another want to be citizens of a yet to be recognized country, namely the so called "Somaliland". The irony here is you present your own citizens of Somalia as new citizens of Somalia. If other northerners who does not hail from the secession-pioneering clan in the north, call for their fellow clans-men to support and join the succession project, it stands to reason that the succession project is either subjugating them or convincing them. Subhaan, Dr. Mohammad Abdullahi Omar with all the secrets of SL, if they ever had secrets , is spilling the beans,at Mogadishu, and SULDAANKA brings a guy here , who is UNKNOWN, for all we know could be from DURIYADA on propaganda spin, but Dr. Mohammad Abdullahi Omar does is obvious SUBXAAN, people can dream, but for once see this as only ONE clan project, and this clan can't even accommodate others,
