I think this case has nothing to do with terrorism. It is rather a case of European authorities coming after their underage citizens who were abducted from Europe by their Somali parents and kept in Africa against their will. It seems some families, who failed their parenting responsibilities, want to outsource to third world countries, thinking money will fix this.

If this girl denounces Islam (God forbid) her parents will be responsible to a large extent. Although some parents understand the trade-off, others are very unaware of the trade-off (enjoying the fruits of a western democracy and maintaining and cultivating Somali culture and diin). At the end day, these two great forces will have a profound effect on anyone who has encountered them.
