These celebrations throughout Somalia welcoming the new President remind me of sheekadii Dhagdheer, whereby all the people in the story in the end sing, "Dhegdheer dhimatay, roobey Dhulkii Nabade!".

 

Which only confirms the intolerable hideousness of the recent Culusow presidency which the Somali nation collectively just survived.

 

In any case, lets all enjoy this honeymoon period for Farmaajo, for there is a lot of work to do.
