galbeedi Posted December 15, 2016 Saalax, it is all about politics. The Saudis were doing this to Somalis for twenty years. They did ban Somali livestock without any regard of how their decisions would hurt people. There is no scientific mechanism or conditions to fulfill. The Saudis are neither friends nor clients. It is a despotic Sheikh who got some power to abuse people. When dictator C/fataax Al-sisi took over Egypt, they offered billions of aid with no humanitarian or friendship reasons other than to destroy the Egyptian Brotherhood party. Last month they suspended a monthly shipment of free oil they have given to the Sisi for the last few years after the dictator made rapprochement with Iran. from 2013, up to today, they gave the Egyptians about $ 25 billion worth of donations. Suddenly they found out all that aid was wasted . This feudal monarchy is supplying armed groups in Syria ad other places while fighting those Muslim groups who are trying to gain power through election and democratic means. Those who are unjust will not rule the land or prosper in the long term. I can assure the Saudi monarchy would not last in the coming modern times. The time has come for Somalis to find different markets.
