I think that is what it will come to. Jamal is waiting for the court outcome, if it favors Faisal Ali Waraabe, he will join the main opposition party. Tallaabo Posted May 13, 2016 They are just causing unnecessary traffic jam in an already busy town. Anyway, why is he in America and not campaigning in the towns and villages where the voters live? Somaliland's politics is so useless it serves no one but those who made it their business.
Saalax Posted May 13, 2016 The voter registration is nearly finished (two more regions left). The campaigning will start late 2016. Remember the election committee banned large gatherings until it is the right time. Also no large gatherings in airports, seems fair.

Gheelle.T Posted May 13, 2016 What's so significant about rented Cadillac trucks, Saalax? Btw, I only see one Cadillac there, rest of them are Chevy Suburban. I still don't get the Somali diaspora and their obsession with throwing parties for politicians (this is not an attack on this particular one or his community). What's the need of renting expensive hotels, convention centers, and luxury cars for a politician when the majority of people back home are dying of hunger. This is across the board for all Somali communities in the west, and their useless madaxwayne-yaal and wannabees enjoy the (extravagance)moment while they feed lies to the sheeps. Saalax Posted May 13, 2016 I agree it is a bit too much,It shows though the Sland diaspora in USA are well off through their own hard work and do have the means to make a big difference back-home. Then again that should be the job of the government not just forever relying on diaspora cash.
