Holac Posted April 27, 2016 Are they ever going to stop this guy? He keeps rolling. And Ted Cruz just announced Carly Fiorina as his "VP", so desperate to stop Trump's momentum. America is going crazy.
galbeedi Posted April 27, 2016 Holac, bahashu qabyaalad bay faraha la gashay. Trump is the Casino and Gambling chief of America, yet the so called religious conservatives, or as they call themselves " evangelicals" voted for him in drones. The issue is neither conservative value nor character , it is all about race, immigration and fear. The nut case Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada, with a Cuban father, yet the know nothing party never raised the issue as they did with Obama. One thing is for sure , the two party system could disappear or there could be some re alignment of party platforms. The democratic party will be the party of the atheist elites and well to do liberals. The new large minority -the Hispanic and lotions- would replace the blacks as the new vehicle for the democratic party, the blue color whites, blacks and anti immigrants whites may join the new Republican party. While the democrats seem to be liberal in their immigration approach ,and moderate in their foreign policy , they do not have the ability or the will power to do any meaningful changes. They play always defensive just like Obama. If you are liberal you must show your true colors and people will reward you for your values of tolerance and inclusiveness, not with words, but with legislative actions just like the Canadian prime minister Trudeau. In Minneapolis the United State Attorney appointed by Obama himself uses entrapments to convict Somalis who might have made innocent pronouncements in the internet or just found guilty by association. . There is no meaningful help from the so called city and state wide leaders to help the youth or the community. If you are voting for these people, they must show interest in your issues. The democrats with their trade liberalization, have exported American manufacturing jobs to China and Mexico which left many working class workers out of the job market. The problem is neither Trump nor Hillary could bring those jobs back . Automation and new technology will eliminate most of those low skill jobs, Besides, if the I phone is manufactured in North America , no one can afford to buy it and all those cheap products at the Walmart . This could be the end of the Republican party or America is going to change dramatically. I am afraid the bully Trump could defeat Hillary if he employs the same tactic he used against Bush. Anyway , he is neither gullible like Bush or dithering like Obama. He is neither interventionist nor anti war . It could be a new America . Judging by what is going on in the world today, especially in the middle east and Africa , any change is welcome both from the left and fight.
galbeedi Posted April 28, 2016 Let me try to give another take on Trump and the democrats. First , the destruction of the Republican party may finally happen under Trump. They watched and cheered while he was attacking Obama and others. Now he came for them and there is no where to run. Their other alternative is Cruz. This nut case is pure evil compared to Trump. Asked about ISIS he said " I will use nuclear and would like to see the glow in the sand". Religious extremists are awful people regardless of which religion they belong. He foreign policy advisers are those Qur'an burning neocon lunatics like Frank Gaffney. He is the worst of the worst. Clinton could win, but unless she wins the congress, it will be four years of gridlock. Americans are reduced just like a debating society. They could not agree on anything. America is taking the image of the useless 24 hour cable news debate that does not allow the conclusion of any thing. In China less than 10 men will decide the issue and the next day it will be implemented. Liberals are enlighten and sensible, but they can not relate with normal people. Rather than jobs, and local communities, they concentrate things like global warming and gender issues. Personally , I am not worried about Trump or his ideas. Let him confront China and others. Soon he will realize how the world has changed long time ago.
