maakhiri1 Posted April 4, 2016 indeed, it is not worth the paper. Abdiweli must be impeached ASAP, he is incapable of leading Puntland cuz he is mentally incapacitated. Waalida waxa u dheer FULUYNIMO, waayo hore u saxiixey, baqdin shacabka Puntland, uu ka baqaayo buu riwaayad udhigey... No 4.5.
Haatu Posted April 4, 2016 Talow waa su'aalee, doorashadan la sheegaayaba, yeyse xal u tahay? Whether or not it happens using 4.5, maxaa ka dambeeyaa? Dawlad kaloo maqaarsaar ah and 4 more years of isqabqabsi? Every time we say President X must go, we need a new leader and so on. Fast forward 4 years and the cycle repeats itself. What really changes though? What progress have we made? Is the current system working? There's a pertinent saying: "Awrba awrka ka horreeya ayuu saanqaadkiisa leeyahay". Say ila tahay, the whole system needs to change. Edit: As for those making out as if 'one man one vote' is Somalia's panacea, have we forgotten what happened in the years following independence? The reason why there was a revolution in the first place?
galbeedi Posted April 4, 2016 Let him do his job. He improved Puntland economically and built badly needed infrastructure like ports and airports within two years. He did hold his ground as much as he could. Who can defeat UN, IGAD, Amisom and Ethiopia at this stage. No one.
Che -Guevara Posted April 4, 2016 It seems Abdiwali held out to win development projects for Pland, good ploy if he knew he eventually had to relent. In any case, Xasan's Government had fours to build a military, setup viable institution and complete the constitution. They haven't even attempted to do any of that. It shows lack of sincerity and complete indifference to our people's suffering. I can understand if they tried and failed, but they haven't even tried. galbeedi Posted April 4, 2016 Hassan Sheekh spent four years organizing Galmudug and South West regions. He could not even finish Hiiraan and others. Al-Shabaab is stronger than 2014, and politically we are back to square one , where we started 2012. One thing is for sure. Instability guarantees his re-election. Che -Guevara Posted April 4, 2016 We are anomaly. It doesn't matter if Somalia is stable or not. But I doubt Hassan Sheikh is coming back. Clan dynamics and outside actors might do him in. P.s. He thought he could pull Galmudug in Hiiraan, but Ugaas in the region is nonsense guy.
