Mooge Posted January 25, 2016 Siilanyo is pocketing all the resources of the country instead of wisely using it to care for the ill.

Miyir Posted January 26, 2016 Something I suspected longtime, now fully confirmed, everyone in that corner is fully bonkers. Official policies 1- Marqaanland and ictiraaf nonsense 2- Refusing Somali refugees to land the Berbera port. 3- Threating to deport Southern Somalis living in North Somalia within 7 days. what next
galbeedi Posted January 26, 2016 They are probably exaggerating. In the old times mentally ill people were left roaming the street. When I visited back home 2011, I had a family member treated for mental illness. He was confined in a room . Also, there are private organizations who take care of the ill through the help of NGO's. At least in Hargeisa and Borama those who are mentally ill are helped by the NGO's. In the more unstable parts of Somalia, they are probably left on the street, and Al-shbaab may use them for bombing. I know for a fact the young man that blew himself in Al-jaziira hotel was mentally sick. He was born in Germany and his family thought a change of scenery might help him, then those killers got him.
