Tillamook Posted January 6, 2016 ^ Salax, I don't know much about her, but if she has all her investments in Uganda only : I'd urge her to diversify and not be caught off guard like the Ugandans of Indian decent who got robbed and Shanghaied in the past by "His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular". ? As you know, the current dictator of Uganda Yoweri Museveni is old and once he dies, the infighting for power in Uganda might undo everything this Odweynite has built. Saalax Posted January 6, 2016 Tillamook That is true never put all your eggs in one basket. From what I have heard she has other assets in Kenya, Rwanda and other African countries not just Uganda. The reason Indians were kicked out was because they looked down on native Ugandans and there was lots of inequality. Ugandans admire Amina though she has created jobs for hundreds of Ugandans.

Tallaabo Posted January 6, 2016 Saalaxoow in this thread you are heaping praise on a woman who spent her entire working life among the Bantus and had been Bantuized to the extent that even her English accent is now officially Bantu. Where as on another thread you disrespected and accused Dahabshiil of financing terror when everyone knows that it is Dahabshiil and not Amina who served and is still serving the Somali people through the bad and good times. Saalax Posted January 6, 2016 Tallaabo So now I am the USA that shut down his company there? I am only stating the facts and that is terrorists do use Dahabshiil to make transactions. Dahabshiil did some good but he also inflicted lots of pain on many families whose relatives were assassinated by Al shabab. FYI Amina does help Somalilanders in Uganda she invited students there. I'd rather have someone like Amina who keeps to herself and doesn't get involved in politics, corruption and terror groups like some people. Dahabshiil has no one to blame for his bad rep but himself. Africa Intelligence: USA suspects Dahabshiil of funding terror group Al Shabab @ said: The latter works for the Somalian funds transfer company Dahabshiil, which is already in the US crosshairs. It suspects it of funding Al-Shabaab and the perpetrators of Somaliland’s attempted coup to overthrow President Ahmed Mohamed Mahamoud, aka Silanyo. Hersi Ali Haji Hassan is also a cousin of Dhabshiil’s founder, Mohamed Said Duale. In mid-November, the latter met with the presidential for Somaliland’s ruling party Kulmiye, Musa Bihi Abdi, to assure him of his commitment to help maintain political stability in Somaliland. . http://www.africaintelligence.com/ION/politics-power/2015/11/20/washington-and-london%E2%80%99s-monkey-business-in-hargeisa,108112233-ART
Suldaanka Posted January 6, 2016 Tallaabo, This Salax guy is a sick individual. He and his comments represent no one but his sickness. So don't take his comments any more than that of a mentally challenged individual. As with Dahabshiil, may allah protect him and reward him for all the good work he has done over the years.
