Admin Posted December 19, 2015 National Consultation Forum (NCF) The Federal Government of Somalia, Regional Governments and Federal Parliament recently launched the National Consultative process to give an opportunity for Somalis to think collectively and to arrive at common decisions on how the electoral transition will be conducted. The process is designed to be inclusive, and incorporate viewpoints of a cross-section of Somali society. In line with the New Deal and Vision 2016, which encourage participation, the inclusion of women, youth and minorities is essential to the process. The process is also designed to incorporate national, regional and local perspectives. The resulting recommendations will reflect the interests and concerns of a broad-range of Somali opinion with regard to inclusive political participation and building a more peaceful society.
