What is it that makes them fast ?

If i had to guess, i would say its because that part of the country is mountainous and above sea-level.

 

People who are born or live in high altitude or above sea level areas are generally faster than the majority who live in at sea level. Maybe that explains it.

 

Only downside is, they are on average shorter than their counter parts in few inches.
